GOVERNMENT AID, WHOSE PLAN IS IT?
Is it God’s plan or maybe the enemy’s? Well we know the Lord gives us physical pictures of things in the supernatural or “in the Spirit” for example, the whole Old Testament is a physical example of a spiritual war. In the old they fought hand to hand but in the New Testament Paul tells us that our battle is not in the flesh but in the Spirit. Yet the Lord showed us the hand to hand things so that we could understand the seriousness of the war in the heavenly realm. The spiritual war is just as much life or death, even more so because it effects eternity! So now that we understand His way of showing us things let us look at the family. I believe it is a direct picture of our relationship with Him, in God’s plan the man is the head of the house, the wife is a strong, bold and yet submissive helper to the man’s plan. The children are warriors, aimed at the enemy, yet in perfect obedient unity, looking at daddy as an example. But is that how we see most families in America? Very rarely, yet that is God’s plan. He lays it out that way so that we can see it in the Spirit as Him being the Father, the church the bride and the children as the young believers. Ok, so we see the man of the family as the provider, because he represents our picture of God in the Spirit, so if the government is all of the sudden supplying the daily needs who is being replaced? The man of the house, and remember the head of the house=God! So the whole concept of government aid is a well thought up plan of the enemy to remove God from our country, let us look at a typical needy family, they have three children, the hubby works hard but ends never meet, then they get government aid and daddy isn’t needed anymore, without even noticing the family begins to disrespect daddy. He begins to feel like a failure, disappointment and condemnation set in. then momma starts to take the lead, (can anybody say Jezebel?) The children who used to think daddy was their hero now rebel and go off their own way, they too grow up to get government aid and so they don’t really need parents at all, pretty soon you got one messed up generation who hasn’t got a clue who God is, and they don’t need Him in their way of thinking. They can get government aid for food, medical, education and more, what do they need Jesus for? Many will not even get married, because they get more money if they aren’t. So the children have no father figure and can’t even relate to Abba-Daddy loving them. So what, oh what is the answer? Well as usual it begins with repentance, then on to faith, now don’t tell me that doesn’t work, did He drop manna out of the sky or did He not? Did He say that He cares for us more than he does the sparrow, or not? Yes He did and yes He does, faith requires one step at a time, the Lord will provide for His children, if we believe scripture, we have got to learn to step into our roles as the Lord has ordained. That is where we find true peace because it points us to Him, I have had many wives come to me and say, “How can I let go of the lead when my hubby won’t do it? You just have to trust that God’s word is true and do it. Pray blessings over that husband, lift him up to the Lord, treat him like the king of your home, the Lord says, “Test Me and see if my ways aren’t true.” It is His plan that every father be a Godly father. Yet it just as much our fault as it is his if he isn’t. But that is another whole article.
