Ok, maybe I am strange but I see a message from the Lord in
most things. The weather here has been more than strange this
year. Spring sprung, flowers bloomed, fruit trees budded and
bloomed the pasture started growing and then, WHAM!!!! a
sudden freeze! What in the world was that all about??? Not a
little frost either but a hard freeze, the kind that kills
everything. The trees went from springtime green to dead
brown. Well I asked the Lord what in the world was going on.
In the south we see the seasons
even more evident that when we lived in CA. One thing I know
is that the seasons have a reason. Did you know that flower
bulbs won't bloom in the spring if they weren't in
the dark ground in very cold temps long enough in the
winter? And did you know that without a hard freeze we
would be run over with bugs in the summer? God has a purpose
in all that He does. Look for His purposes around you
everyday. To me He is saying, it isn't over, things may be
bleak and dead looking, but a bigger spring is coming, one
with less opposition (bugs, pests).
What is He saying to you??

FRIEND OR CELL MATE---WHICH ARE
WE???
I was talking recently to a young
man who had made some wrong choices, and we were talking about
fellowship and he said, "I know I have picked some wrong
friends, but you got to hang out with somebody, right?" Well
as often happens the Lord used my mouth before I even realized
what was happening. I replied, "if your friends aren't
encouraging you in the Lord then they aren't friends, they are
your cell mates in prison." How true that is.
I knew a mother once who thought
all of her son's troubles were his choice of friends. Her son
was perfect in her eyes. It didn't take a whole lot of looking
to realize that her son WAS the wrong crowd. Repentance starts
with us. Let's look at it from the other side. Are we being
friends to those around us, or are we being "cell mates?" The
people that are around us, those we fellowship with, are we
influencing them for the Lord? One thing I have taught my
children is that having a big family makes you an army. No
matter who we are around we usually outnumber them. So if the
conversation isn't on Jesus whose fault is it? Evangelism is a
daily thing. Discipling is a daily thing. But none of it
happens if we aren't focused on a "Jesus purpose" to begin
with. We have to have a revelation of what He is doing at all
times. We have to have an "ear to hear." How does that happen?
Does that happen in a group setting? Not usually. That thought
got me thinking about John on the isle of Patmos.
I have always thought of John
being on the isle of Patmos alone. I guess there is no real
evidence to support that, but there isn't any to argue it
either. Scripture doesn't exactly tell us. But whether he was
the only guy on the island or not, he was most certainly alone
with Jesus. And alone with Jesus is exactly where we need to
be to grow. And yet just as most people are uncomfortable
having a serious "one on one" conversation, they are also
uncomfortable being alone with the Lord. You have no one to
hide behind when you are alone. Who you are really shows. The
Lord was showing me that while many people have a hard time
standing up for Jesus in a crowd of their peers, they have a
harder time being alone with the Lord. Can you worship the
lord all by yourself? No crowd to get you going? Can you pray
all by yourself? With nobody to impress? Can you actually
cleanse yourself (repent and come clean) and go into the Holy
of Holies all by yourself? That is how scripture tells us to
do it. That is where we get revelation. That is where we
develop that "ear to hear." That is where we get the purpose
and the plan. |

THANK YOU! Thank you so much to
those of you who have prayed about all the events surrounding
my mom's passing. There is actually a meeting this morning
which we are praying will bring some resolution. If you
are reading this Tues April 24, please be praying with me that
the Lord has HIS way.

-is the site for our local church. The Well. Last
Sunday April 15 was one of those suprise services where the
Lord decided to show up before were even done with the sound
check. I scrambled to get the mp3 recorder on and caught it in
action.. I am thankful that April is so in tune with the Lord
to realize that even if it is 20 minutes before service time
to keep going and not wait for "service" to start. The worship
lasted for well over an hour. I do have it on the "happenings"
page. It is a big file and may take awhile to download, but it
is worth it. It is not a professional recording but rather a
"live" recording. If you have been battling any kind of
heaviness especially listen all the way through as the last
half is where she prophesies it all of you.
I am also posting this evening a new song that we
recorded during intercession at the church on April 22. This
was while we were at the altar after, note I said after the
regular service. It is another very intense song from the Lord
about the unborn. Jesus help us all.

Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 3. We are seeing some really
exciting things lately and have some testimonies from people
who have attended the services. Jesus is moving in our small
town and we are humbled to be part of what he is doing. If you

Jail - Clifton Prison
REVIVAL continues!! This ministry has truly grown. Not
only is it a salvation service but the men are truly being
discipled. The Lord is raising up worship leaders and
ministers behind prison walls.

Always live, always exciting! Live from Columbia TN.
I am always "fishing." Putting out comments as bait to
start a Jesus coversation. Well we recently had 4 birthdays
all in a row so we went to the Rainforest Cafe in Nashville.
Those of you who have been there know that is a once in a year
adventure. The waiters there make it a really fun experience.
Our waiter mentioned that Jim looked familiar and so I started
joking with him and said, "oh no, you just blew your cover, if
he looks familiar you are in trouble!" Of course he then
asked why. Bait taken. I replied, "well he preaches in the
county jails, bring the love of Jesus." Then this guy just lit
up like a firecracker! He told us he is a preacher too and
shared the most incredible testimony all about...... well you
can hear the rest next week, Tues May 1 on the air live!
