Dearest Friends, Happy thanksgiving!! Seems like this time of the year people are so busy but it is all for tomorrow. Not even really planning on tomorrow but waiting on tomorrow. Anybody waiting? What are we waiting on? The holidays are just around the corner yet the Lord has plans for today, so what are we waiting on. Sometimes we are waiting on something, provision to get the job done. Do you know that when we started this newsletter we didn't even have a computer? I wrote it on paper, had someone else type it out and print it then snail mailed everyone of them. If I had waited for God to do "His part" by giving me the equipment it might have never come. He had already given me the words and was waiting on me to write them with what I had. Sometimes He is waiting on us. Many think they have to have this and that before they can do what God has called them to do. I know many of the TV preachers wouldn't dare preach wearing the wrong kind of shoes. Don't laugh, I have heard those guys same as you have. And then there are some who won't preach until they have a big stage with the right kind of people and the right kind of publicity. They are waiting to do what God called them to yesterday. Maybe He called them to a street corner and a homeless man. They say they are waiting on God to provide before they make a move. Well that is good unless He has already told them to move ahead on something. You know most real prophets have no idea what they are going to say until they open their mouth? You cannot plan a prophecy. You cannot plan a move of God. And you certainly cannot put a move on hold until God does it "your way". Or "my way". You cannot tell God, "I will do what you are calling me to when you do such and such". He doesn't call for it without supplying what you need. If you don't think the provision is there but you know He has called, maybe He isn't providing your way, maybe He is providing His way. Let me give you a parable. You decide you want to bake a cherry pie for Jesus, you know He has called you to worship Him so your heart is right, so you sit, and sit, and sit, waiting on some cherries, you wait and wait and finally get maybe a little bitter at the Lord because He isn't helping you out. You act like Jonah and go pout under a tree. You finally are a little humbled and look up to the heavens with a repentful heart, and up above you, you see peaches, ripe juicy peaches, and the Lord says, "I like peach pie." It was there all along, but you were so busy thinking of what YOU wanted to do, instead of what He wanted. Now I know that was kind of silly, but get my point here. I am ever so grateful for our van that the Lord provided a couple years ago, but if we had put off ministry that He was calling us to until He brought that van there would be a whole lot of undone stuff! There would people that He put in the right place at the right time that might not have heard what the Lord would have us say to them. If we had waited. The Lord calls us to patience and we need to be sure He is the one speaking, not just our own desires, but once He speaks, MOVE! The body of Christ is too slow to obey. Is there such a thing as rebellious obedience? Of course, it is being obedient in our timing rather than His. It is waiting, waiting, waiting. I encourage you during this holiday season to only wait when He says wait. If He has called you to something then He has already provided, look around, that provision may look like peaches instead of cherries. I again encourage you this holiday season to have an ear to hear what the Lord is saying. There is no time in America when Jesus' name is more acceptable than the holiday season, LISTEN for those opportunities. We cannot even begin to understand the love He is waiting to pour out on us!

MAURY COUNTY JAIL AND CLIFTON STATE PRISON- REVIVAL continues!! At the local county jail Jim has been blessed to get many of the same inmates weekly instead of new ones all the time. It has enabled him to really disciple them, teach them to go form, "GLORY TO GLORY". As a result they are also learning to minister to one another. There is forming not only a revival but a core of believers that can minister from the inside. Jim is only there once a week but these guys are there all the time. Kind of like native missionaries. The goal is not to get our name known, the goal is for our name to be unknown but HIS NAME to be known by all!
