Dearest Friends,
Recently during one of our services at The Well the Lord was showing me about His plan of evangelism. He reminded me that He truly is the light. And that He has put His light in the earth. He said if we want others to see Him then all we have to do is not block the light. His work has already been done. The price was paid. The sacrifice accepted.
Jesus said in John 8:12, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
He showed me that we can stand between Him and those who need Him with our own plans and agendas and programs, and we will basically be "shadowing" the people with our own gospel. It may look good and sound good but in reality they never experience His light. Picture for a minute the sun coming from one direction. If I were to stand facing you between you and the sun I would cast a shadow and block your eyes from the sun. But if I turned sideways so that you couldn’t really even see my face it would be a much narrower block and the light would still come to you pretty strong. That is what the Lord is calling us to, and challenging you to also. To draw His people to the light, HIM, then turn so that they don’t see us and only see Him. It is wonderful to remember who led you to the Lord but if you remember more about them than you do about HIM then there is something wrong. I don’t want people to notice "me" I want them to notice "HIM". I have faults, He doesn’t. I may let you down, He won’t. The best evangelist is the one who introduces you to Jesus without you ever knowing the guys name. So contrary to today’s Gospel huh? But that is what it takes to bring revival to the world, us getting out of the way. So that His light can shine forth. It is the meek who will inherit the earth.

This is the scripture the Lord brought to me as I was praying during one of our services. I was asking Him to bring His body together. The above scripture was His answer, then He told me the funniest thing. He said that most believers don’t know how to "be gathered" and find refuge under His wing because they were not hatched naturally, they were incubated. ............... it can be seen further here www.awesomeglory.com/tracts/ic.htmlTheWellTN.com - is the new site for our local church. The Well. No programs, no agendas, just "lifting Him up" and seeing lives changed. We continue to see lives changed! There are men rising up to what God has called for them, and being leaders for their families. Learning to love their wives and children. Praying for one another, supporting one another. We have seen youth completely overtaken by the Spirit of God. We have seen a baby in the womb healed! We have seen ex-convicts that were totally beaten down by this world lift their heads to the Lord, knowing that is where their help comes from. We have seen intercessors strengthened. We have seen marriages restored. We have seen addicts delivered. We have seen those from denominations that don’t believe in the gifts being filled with His Spirit and loving it. We have heard heavenly choirs and heavenly orchestras join in the worship. We have been blessed to have been witnesses to Jesus moving in a community, and this is only the beginning!! Send us your prayer requests and we will place them on our "wailing wall" at the altar, where they will be prayed over and cried over. The church is located in downtown Mt Pleasant TN. We meet Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 3. We are seeing some really exciting things lately and have some testimonies from people who have attended the services. MAURY COUNTY JAIL AND CLIFTON STATE PRISON- REVIVAL continues!! The inmates at the county jail gave Jim a special gift for Christmas. They gave him a card signed from all of them! Now that might not seem like such a big deal to y’all but remember they can’t just go shopping and pass around a card. But that wasn’t the biggest gift. Let me give you a picture of where they are. They are locked in a concrete cell with one other guy, a small window in the door and an "air gap" at the floor under the door. To hear what is going on outside their cell they have to press their head against the door or put their ear to the space at the floor. Yet these guys love their Lord and Jim so much they were willing to go out of their way to do something. That something was WORSHIP! They spent who knows how many days with their mouths and ears pressed up to that "air gap" learning to worship together. They kept on and kept on until they were truly "one mind and one accord"! You know for them to be loud enough to hear each other they had to have been loud enough to bless the ones in between also!
